Kaduna Senator Katung Condemns Killing of Police Officers

Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, has condemned the killing of two gallant police officers at their duty post in Zonkwa Police Station, Zango Kataf, Kaduna State.

According to reports, suspected bandits invaded the Zonkwa Police Division, shooting sporadically and killing two officers on duty. The attackers allegedly tried to break into the detention room to free detained gang members but met strong resistance from the police.

Katung Describes Attack as Barbaric

In a statement personally signed by Senator Katung, he expressed deep sadness over the tragedy. He described the incident as wicked, barbaric, and reprehensible. Moreover, he said the assault on officers who dedicate their lives to protecting others was both shocking and unacceptable.
