Napoli president Aurelien De Laurentiis has ruled out any Victor Osimhen Juventus transfer, stating the Nigerian striker will not join their Serie A rivals. The 26-year-old currently plays on loan at Galatasaray, following a fallout with Napoli’s management last season.
De Laurentiis made his stance clear during a radio interview. “No! Never at Juventus,” he said on Radio Kiss Kiss, according to Calciomercato. His firm response follows growing interest in Osimhen across Europe, especially from top Premier League clubs.
Despite his exit from Naples looking inevitable, De Laurentiis refuses to let Juventus benefit from it. Osimhen has been in electric form for Okan Buruk’s Galatasaray, scoring 29 goals and providing 6 assists across all competitions this season.
Clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal are monitoring his situation closely. Napoli, aware of this growing demand, is reportedly ready to lower Osimhen’s €75 million valuation to encourage a move to the Premier League and block Juventus from signing him.
Last summer, Osimhen was expected to leave. A deal with a Saudi club collapsed, and he later turned down Chelsea over personal terms. Although Galatasaray wants to keep him, convincing the striker to stay might prove difficult.
Napoli believes a Premier League sale serves two purposes. It guarantees a big payday while preventing their league rivals from strengthening.
When asked about his future, Osimhen chose his words carefully.
“There are always rumours about me, but I live in the moment. I’m enjoying all this now. The fans supported me incredibly. Not just me, but also my teammates and my family. The best decision will be made for everyone, but Galatasaray will forever remain in my heart.”
The Victor Osimhen Juventus transfer appears firmly off the table, at least as far as Napoli is concerned. But with the summer window approaching, the battle for Osimhen’s signature is far from over.
